The FACC Houston, the Alliance Francaise and Diner is Possible welcomed Ambassador Moussa Camara, Permanent Representative to the United Nations of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie who explained in French the challenges for the Francophonie in 2009. Close to 200 people savored the traditional Guinguette menu of French BBQ, prepared by Chef Emmanuel Henry. The menu included grilled meats, salads and dessert accompanied by several cheeses and wines with the help of the produces of Olde World Farms, Bryan Farms, Houston Dairy Maids, The French Farms and several other vendors. Live music by Stephan Badreau and Joe Tarrantino transported our guests through the melodies of provincial France. Gilbert Farah demonstrated a champagne sabring and Swiss artists Anne-Joelle Galley, Catherine Winkler-Rayroud and Barbara Brown Tennant exposed their wonderful paintings. A Tarot Card demonstration offered everyone a chance to learn or practice this dynamic game!
