"The position of West African Countries in the International Oil Industry"
This luncheon was organized by the Energy Committee of the FACC and took place on Thursday September 20th at Masraff's restaurant. About 40 guests familiar with the oil industry listened carefully to Mr. Jean-Pierre Favennec, Director of the Center for Economics and Management at the IFP School (French Petroleum Institute) . We were happy to welcome an expert on this issue in Houston, capital of the energy economy. Mr. Favennec talked about the future, and mentioned the challenges oil and gas industries will face in West African countries, which might be the major oil providers to the US.
