Results of the Survey

The French-American Chamber of Commerce Houston is pleased to announce the results of the survey held July 17th-27th. We would like to thank all who participated! We received a total of 95 responses. Your suggestions and comments were all taken into consideration.

The first question suggested three options to help us update the title of the Beaujolais Festival. The results are listed as follows: 
- 34% - The French-American Chamber of Commerce - 26th Annual Wine and Food Festival - Featuring Beaujolais Nouveau;
- 17% - The French-American Chamber of Commerce presents: The 2009 Wine and Food Festival – A Beaujolais Nouveauté;
- 49% - Beaujolais & Beyond - 2009 Texas-French Wine and Food Festival.

For question number 2, we received many wonderful suggestions. Based on these, the French-American Chamber of Commerce's Beaujolais Committee cast a unanimous vote for the new title. We are delighted to invite you to:

 "Celebrating Taste with Style: 
Soiree Beaujolais and Beyond!
26th Annual French-American Wine and Food Festival"

We are therefore happy to award five tickets to the three most successful suggestions:  
- Phil M. for "Celebrating Taste and Style: Beaujolais 2009";
- Jane W. for "The French Chamber of Commerce presents: Soiree Beaujolais Noveau";
- Dennis P. for "The French-American Chamber of Commerce - 26th Annual Wine and Food Festival - We're Not Just Nouveau Anymore!".

Regarding the question on the silent auction, here are the different suggestions:

- 8% asked us to focus on gift certificates in general;
- 16% on hotel gift certificates;
- 23% on sport and musical season tickets,
- 29% on restaurant gift certificates,
- 11% on luxury clothing, beauty products and jewelry,
- 13% on other items including accessories and airline tickets.

Again, thank you for your participation and your strong support of the Festival! We hope you will be able to join us at the Hilton on Post Oak on Thursday November 19, 2009 from 6:30PM until 9:00PM.
