Inbound Customer Service Associates are required to handle incoming calls on behalf of IRT's clients; explain product or services and remedy any issues the customer may have with their accounts. In addition, they build rapport with each customer, and offer world class customer service.

Eligibility: Minimum 18-years of age with a high school diploma or G.E.D, above average customer service skills, competitive sales ability, up selling skills, and successfully pass an extensive criminal background check and drug test. Previous call center experience is preferred but not required.

Fall Internship
The Houston Chapter is one of 19 chapters of the French-American Chamber of Commerce in the U.S. It is an independent, non-profit, member-driven organization with the goal of promoting and developing commercial and financial relations between France and the United States in the Houston area. To achieve this goal, the Chamber organizes events to bring members together in the spirit of establishing contacts and expanding the economic relationship between both countries
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The intern is responsible for assisting the Executive Director and carrying out the following tasks:
Event Planning: helps develop the calendar; helps manage logistical and operational aspects of events; is responsible for welcoming attendees at events and functions.
Administrative tasks: helps update and maintain the website; assists with general administrative duties.
Newsletter: helps prepare news articles related to French-American business community
DETAILS:
- 20 hours / week;
- August 15 to December 15
- This is an unpaid position, students are welcome to apply;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- basic French speaking skills appreciated;
- Flexible approach to work, must be able to manage time effectively and demonstrate attention to details.
Computer Skills: Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of Constant Contact, photoshop and other internet related programs appreciated.
